Christina develops horses and riders by building confidence and independent balance. With a deep commitment to clear teaching, her program is based on logical and progressive training that gets results. Christina has helped many amateur riders of various ages and levels reach their goals – at home and on the show grounds. The only pre-requisite at Windsor Equestrian is the rider’s seriousness about equestrian education and commitment to good horsemanship.
With more than 30 years in the sport-horse industry, Christina is an active competitor through the Preliminary level in Eventing, competes Jumpers up to 1.20 meter and has trained Dressage horses through Prix St. Georges. She earned her Instructor Certification from the United States Eventing Association in 2009 and is Board Member at Large of the Central Texas Eventing Association. She continues to further her equestrian education working with top American eventers Kim Severson and Doug Payne.
Christina grew up in Westchester County, New York. She studied foreign languages as an undergraduate at Sarah Lawrence College and journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill for a Master’s. She moved to Texas in 2001. Christina lives on her lovely little horse farm in Dripping Springs with her husband, Dr. Jeff Windsor, their two sons, Henry and Charlie, two dogs, Pebbles and Charlotte, and one cat, Clifford.
