Windsor Equestrian specializes in private one-on-one riding lessons. We accept students based on their seriousness and commitment to good horsemanship and equestrian education — Not on background, age, ability or type of horse. We welcome prospective clients to make an appointment to watch lessons, sign up for “test-drive” lessons, observe training sessions, and to ask lots of questions. We have lesson horses for beginners, advanced beginners, intermediate and advanced riders. The Windsor Equestrian Lesson Program is billed at the beginning of each month with a minimum lesson package of 4 lessons per month. Lesson credits expire at the end of each month unless otherwise specified.
Private lessons (owner horse or school horse) are $60 and run for 45 to 60 minutes.
Beginner Lessons include time grooming and tacking horses and learning basic horsemanship.
Haul-ins are welcome.
Lesson away from Windsor Equestrian $65 plus fuel.
Cross Country Lesson $70/private or per person in a group.
We make regular training outings to cross country venues, to clinics with world-class professionals, and to eventing, show jumping and dressage competitions. See our schedule for competition and clinic details.
Christina has extensive experience in training all types and ages of horses for careers in dressage, jumping and eventing. Approaching each horse as a custom project, Christina uses clear communication, sound fundamentals of horsemanship and equitation, and a thorough knowledge of biomechanics to patiently get the very best out of an equine partner. With many satisfied clients, many happy horses and collegial relationships with national, state, and local horse professionals, Christina is glad to supply references, upon request.
Full training is $600/month (4-5 weekly sessions, includes one lesson per week).
Half training is $300/month.
Individual training rides are $30/ride
Windsor Equestrian often has horses for lease. Please inquire for more details. A full lease is $500/month.
Windsor Equestrian is not a boarding-only facility. Paddock Board for horses in our Program (minimum of one lesson/week) is $500/month. This covers the following: A 12×12 stall with adjoined private paddock. Stalls have rubber matting floors and fans. We turn out for several hours a day on the grass, conditions permitting. Paddocks and stalls are cleaned twice daily. Water tubs are scrubbed frequently. We feed Purina Ultium, coastal hay and alfalfa hay or pellets and supply a mineral block. Custom feeding is available on a case-by-case basis. If your horse requires a bedded stall, Stall Board is $600/month. Shavings are available at $6/bag for occasional use or when the horses must be stalled-up due to weather. Horses are never stalled for more than 24 hours without turnout or exercise.
No extra charges for feeding supplements (supplied by owner). No extra charges for blanketing. No surcharges for arranging farrier or vet. Hauling to and time with vet are billed. Property damage will be billed accordingly at Windsor Equestrian’s discretion.
All regular on-site services are billed in full at the beginning of each month.
Daily board for short stays is $25/day.
Trailer parking is $25 to $75/month.
Hauling is billed by the mile/per horse, all miles included — empty or loaded. $50 minimum. We charge $1/mile unless otherwise agreed, depending on the price of fuel and individual circumstances.
Windsor Equestrian has an excellent network for selling and buying horses. We do not work on a commission system. We bill based on time/work and charge a $500 retainer when hired. Satisfaction guaranteed or you will be refunded the retainer. Please be in touch to discuss details of our sales and search program and how we can assist you to find the perfect match for your buyer or your horse.

Windsor Equestrian is a small and friendly establishment. Our barn, shelters and paddocks are safe and well ventilated, with plenty of shade. Our riding space has a regulation 20×40-meter all-weather dressage arena, an all-weather sand/turf riding field with jumps, and a track around the perimeter. We level, drag and water our arena and turf footing regularly. We have lights for the arena. Our jewel of a property is convenient from Austin or Dripping Springs downtowns, but it is located in a quiet neighborhood where you can spend peaceful, quality time with your horse.
We welcome your inquiries. Thank you for your interest.
